✨ The proposal… it’s the very first real step of this beautiful adventure. Alexis chose to surprise Kassia during their trip to Saint-Tropez. He proposed at @airellessainttropez , surrounded by an incredible surprise: Kassia’s family had crossed the Atlantic ✈️ to be there and share this unique moment. Needless to say, emotions were running high… 🥹💛 It was a true privilege for me to capture this proposal, filled with love and intensity, alongside my colleague @alexchevalierfilms . 📸✨ And then, there are the more… original proposals 😅 As for me, my husband was so afraid of choosing the wrong ring that he simply… took me straight to the jewelry store!

People sometimes ask me how I organize my flatlay shoots. ✨ As always, I like to remind that every wedding is unique, and my approach is entirely adapted to your day and your timeline. Ahead of time, it requires a bit of preparation: we discuss together the items to set aside, such as flowers, jewelry, invitations, and other meaningful details that tell your story. 💌💍 On the wedding day, I usually create the flatlays during the bride’s getting ready, as it’s the perfect moment when everything is gathered. However, depending on the flow of the day, I may also arrive a bit earlier if needed, to take the time to create thoughtful and inspired images. These few minutes are precious: they allow me to highlight all the details you’ve carefully chosen and to tell the story of your wedding as a whole, down to the smallest elements. ✨📸

I struggle to delegate and, without realizing it, I overload myself. 😓 Today, I’m simply trying to observe myself, to look at my behavior without judgment, and to welcome whatever comes. The evening begins right after the cocktail hour and includes so many meaningful moments: discovering your beautifully decorated dinner space, your emotional entrance, the surprises and speeches from your loved ones, the arrival of the cake, your first dance, and of course the entire party that follows. It’s the moment when your guests let loose, the atmosphere lifts, people laugh, dance, and truly enjoy themselves. The evening reveals another side of your wedding, more vibrant, authentic, and spontaneous, and it’s often where unexpected and precious memories are created. So, is it essential? If you want to relive that energy, those moments of pure joy, and the emotions you may have missed while living your day so intensely… then yes, the evening absolutely deserves to be documented in photos. ✨📸

During our discovery calls, people often tell me how much they love candid photos, those spontaneous, unscripted moments. And I completely understand that desire… Because even I, when I’m on the other side of the camera, tend to freeze up and feel a bit uncomfortable. 😅 It’s a very personal feeling, but over the years I’ve observed and learned one thing: the key lies in how you feel at the moment the photo is taken. And naturally, the result will always be different when you’re photographed by someone you know, someone you feel comfortable with, rather than a stranger. That’s why it’s essential for me that we talk, meet, and create a genuine and sincere connection. This connection will almost make you forget I’m even there, allowing you to fully live your day and that’s when the truly spontaneous photos happen. ✨ That said, I’m also sometimes guided by a certain light, a line, an atmosphere… So I may gently give you a few suggestions to bring depth and intention to some images, without ever compromising your natural essence. 🌿📷

Nothing is imposed in a wedding, everything should reflect who you are. 🤍✨ But brunch is that little extra that can truly make a difference. It allows you to extend the celebrations gently, in a more relaxed atmosphere. The day before the wedding, it can also be a lovely opportunity to bring your loved ones together informally, break the ice, and create a warm atmosphere right from the start of the weekend.
And for guests who are traveling from afar, it’s a real gift: they get to enjoy a bit more of the region you carefully chose to celebrate your love. 🌿✨ In short, brunch isn’t mandatory… but it has this wonderful ability to make the experience even more beautiful and complete. 🥰
